OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Facilitates and monitors the delivery of specified interventions and assessments related to student achievement.

 

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

1.   Conducts and collects Progress Monitoring and Ongoing Progress Monitoring data.
2.   Makes recommendations to regarding changing student needs based on Ongoing Progress Monitoring data.
3.   Observes interactions of students as a part of an intervention group and suggests appropriate adjustments to maximize learning environment through student group configuration. 4.   Works with identified at-risk students to deliver small-group interventions.
5.   Shares recommendations and observations with leadership team.
6.   Meets with teachers of assigned students to discuss student progress.
7.   Participates in skills building professional development.
8.   Conducts Progress Monitoring and Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM).
9.   Performs other duties related to general intervention delivery and assessment responsibilities as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This work requires the following physical activities: sitting, standing, walking, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1.   Bachelor’s degree.
2.   Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in oral and written form.

Starting Teacher Salary: $53,159.00*

*(includes 6% Referendum Retirement Accruing Supplement of $3,009)
